Dual Brick Edging done right

Dual brick edging uses a wider brick edger with two finished faces, giving the border more presence than a single row of standard edgers.

Set in a Quikrete concrete base and backfilled on both sides, it lasts for years through freeze and thaw and gives the mower a clean strip to run against.

How it works

  1. 1. Mark the bed line — we lay out the border and confirm curves and corners.
  2. 2. Excavate — we dig a level trench to the depth of the dual edger.
  3. 3. Base and set — we bed each edger in Quikrete so the wide border locks together, tight and level.
  4. 4. Lock in — we backfill both sides so the wide border lasts for years.

Dual Brick Edging FAQs

+How is dual brick edging different from standard brick edgers?

The edger is wider with two finished faces, so the border reads as a bolder, more finished edge — a good fit for driveways, walkways and front beds.

+Does a wider edger still mow well?

Yes. Set flush and level, the wide top acts as a mowing strip just like a single row of brick edgers.
