A stepping stone path gives your yard a defined route instead of worn grass, and ties your entry, beds, gate and patio together.

We set each stepper on a compacted base and level it with the surrounding grade, so the path is comfortable to walk and easy to mow around.

Choose natural stone steppers for an organic path, or concrete steppers for uniform sizes and clean lines — each has its own page with the full installation method and material choices.

How it works

1. 1. Plan the route — we walk the property and decide where a path is needed, from doors and gates to patios, beds and mailboxes.
2. 2. Choose your stepper — we compare natural stone and concrete steppers for size, shape and color.
3. 3. Set the steppers — we dig each spot, add a compacted base and level each stepper with the surrounding grade.
4. 4. Finish the path — we fill around the steppers with grass, rock or mulch and check the walking line.
